Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Bloxburg Sunset Resorts website, Discord bot, and related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Service immediately.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, guests, and staff members who access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Bloxburg Sunset Resorts is a fan-made community platform associated with the Roblox game "Welcome to Bloxburg". Our Service includes:

  • Information about our in-game resort experiences and sessions
  • A room booking system for eligible members
  • A loyalty programme that rewards guests for their stays
  • Employment information and staff applications
  • Community social links and announcements
  • A Discord bot for staff check-ins, moderation, and HR management
  • An administrative dashboard for authorised staff members
  • A privacy request portal for GDPR and data subject rights

Bloxburg Sunset Resorts is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Roblox Corporation or the creators of Welcome to Bloxburg.

3. Eligibility

To use certain features of the Service, you must:

  • Be at least 13 years of age
  • Have a valid Discord account in good standing
  • Be a member of our official Discord server
  • Comply with Discord's Terms of Service (discord.com/terms)
  • Comply with Roblox's Terms of Use for in-game interactions

VIP booking access requires holding the designated VIP role in our Discord server. Admin dashboard access requires holding a verified staff role as determined by our management team.

4. User Accounts and Authentication

You authenticate with our Service exclusively through Discord OAuth2. By logging in, you grant us permission to access your Discord username, user ID, profile picture, and server role information as described in our Privacy Policy.

You may optionally add a contact email address to your profile. This is used solely to deliver appeal decisions and GDPR request updates, and is never shared with third parties.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Discord account. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account credentials.

5. Room Booking System

5.1 Eligibility to Book

Room bookings are available only to users who hold the VIP role in our Discord server at the time of booking. VIP status is granted at the sole discretion of our management team and may be revoked at any time.

5.2 Booking Process

Bookings are subject to availability and staff approval. Submitting a booking request does not guarantee a confirmed booking. Our staff will review requests and notify you via Discord DM or email with the outcome.

5.3 Pricing and Discounts

All pricing is in Bloxburg Dollars (B$), a fictional in-game currency with no real-world monetary value. Applicable discounts — including VIP discounts, Gold Customer discounts, and loyalty tier discounts — are calculated automatically. Only the highest applicable discount is applied; discounts are not stackable.

5.4 Cancellations

We reserve the right to cancel or modify any booking at any time. No real-money transactions occur through our Service.

6. Loyalty Programme

6.1 Earning Points

Guests earn loyalty points for each room stay. Points are calculated based on the amount of Bloxburg Dollars spent after discounts are applied, at a rate set by our management team. Point rates and tier thresholds may be adjusted at any time without notice.

6.2 Tiers and Perks

Loyalty points determine your tier status (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum). Each tier unlocks perks including booking discounts and points boosts. Tier perks are reviewed and may be updated periodically by management. Perks have no cash value.

6.3 Redeeming Points

Points may be redeemed for in-game rewards as listed in the redemption catalogue on your profile page. Certain redemptions (including special roles and Gold Customer status) require opening a moderation ticket. Points may also be exchanged for credits at the rate published on your profile page, which also requires a moderation ticket.

6.4 No Cash Value

Loyalty points and credits hold no real-world monetary value, are non-transferable, and may not be exchanged for money or equivalent. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the loyalty programme at any time.

7. Moderation and Appeals

7.1 Moderation

Our staff team may issue warnings, mutes, kicks, bans, or other moderation actions for violations of these Terms or our community guidelines. All moderation actions are logged and may be reviewed.

7.2 Site Bans

Users who are banned from our platform will be redirected and denied access to the Service. Site bans may be issued independently of Discord server bans.

7.3 Appeals

You may appeal warnings and bans through the Appeals page. Appeal decisions are communicated via Discord DM and, if a contact email is set, via email. Appeal decisions made by our staff team are final unless new evidence is presented.

8. Discord Bot

Our Discord bot operates in our official server and performs the following functions:

  • Staff check-in logging — recording guest room assignments during sessions
  • Loyalty point management — awarding and adjusting points on behalf of staff
  • Moderation — logging warnings, bans, notes, and other actions
  • HR management — leave requests, LOA tracking, and session absences
  • Ticket system — support and moderation ticket creation and management
  • Session management — hosting request processing and session absence logging

By participating in sessions or interacting with our bot, you consent to the relevant data being recorded as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Submit false or misleading information, including false booking requests or applications
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or our systems
  • Harass, abuse, threaten, or harm other users or staff members
  • Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the Service without our express permission
  • Engage in any activity that disrupts or interferes with the Service
  • Circumvent any access controls, loyalty programme rules, or eligibility requirements
  • Attempt to manipulate your loyalty points, tier, or credits outside of our official processes

10. Staff and Administration

Staff members and administrators are bound by additional internal guidelines provided separately. Access to the admin dashboard is a privilege, not a right, and may be revoked at any time without notice.

All staff decisions regarding bookings, applications, appeals, and moderation are final unless appealed through our official process.

Staff HR records — including leave requests, LOAs, and session absences — are maintained within the Service for internal management purposes.

11. Data Rights and GDPR

You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time through our Privacy Request Portal. Requests are handled by our compliance team within 30 days.

12. Intellectual Property

The Bloxburg Sunset Resorts name, logo, and associated branding are owned by Bloxburg Sunset Resorts. The Roblox platform, Welcome to Bloxburg game, and related assets are the intellectual property of their respective owners.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our branding or website content without express written permission.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

In-game items, room types, pricing, loyalty points, and credits displayed on our website are representative of the Bloxburg game experience and carry no real-world value or guarantee.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Bloxburg Sunset Resorts and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of points, tier status, or access to the loyalty programme.

15. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, third parties, or the Service. Upon termination, your loyalty points and credits will be forfeited.

16. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will indicate the date of the most recent update at the top of this document. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

17. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. As a Roblox fan community operating internationally, we make no representations that the Service is appropriate or available in all locations.
